It's Official...

Hello. It's Liz here today. I have stamped my flowers from the Moderne Flowers set onto gingham paper. This is a good idea if you don't have time to colour, just remember you need to choose paper with a small pattern!

Thanks for stopping by today, happy crafting!

Build a Wreath - A6 Blossom and Grow Stamp Set and A6 Leaves Clear Stamp Set

Hi everyone, Alice here,  A bit late in getting this on for today, but thought I would post it anyway.  I was having a little browse through some You Tube tutorials on inking techniques, when I stumbled across a fabulous tutorial.  No, it's not what you think, absolutely nothing to do with Inking techniques at all.

It was a tutorial on how to make a "Build a Wreath Template" for a stamping platform.  I studied the tutorial, but way too much measuring for me.  I went to the Scan n Cut and produced my own template using square shapes.  Probably not the best in the world, but it worked for me.

I knew instantly, that this would work well with the A6 Moderne Leaves from Coulourific which you can find here.  I also used some of the small flowers from the A6 Camper Van and A6 Blossom and Grown Sets.

Here are some of the samples I played around with, some are better than others, but I am just learning!!  I have made one into a card which you can see in one of my later blogs.

Moderne Flowers - again - A5 Moderne Flower Stamp Set

I just love this stamp set it's such a beautiful and versatile little flower stamp.  To create the background paper, I stamped the A6  Leaves Stamps onto pink paper, then embossed with white embossing powder.  I inked the paper with green and yellow distress inks.  I stamped the A5 Moderne Flowers 4 times with versa mark ink pad and embossed with white embossing powder.  I cut each flower out with a hexagon die and inked the background with yellow and green distress inks.  I coloured the flowers with water colours.  I used a larger hexagon die and cut out 4 in black card, and layered the flowers on top.  I used black card and layered the backing paper on top of this, then cut out the sentiment with a die and made a messy bow.  Once it was all assembled, I thought that for balance, I should just have used 3 hexagons!  Lesson learned.  You can find this Stamp Set and many more here.

Thank you for looking.

Hello. It's Liz here, today I have a card featuring the Moderne Flowers stamp set. I stamped the flowers slightly off the squares, love the effect you get! Cars and Stars - A6 Sports Car Stamp Set

Good Morning Everyone

Alice here with my Monday morning blog.  I made this little Card and Artist Trading Coin using the Colourific A6 Sports Car set.  This is a great little set for those often difficult to make "Male" cards and you can find it by clicking here

Materials Used:  Black Card, White Card, Silver Glitter Card and 2 sheets of background paper.  Black and Red Glitter Pens and some Copic Pens.

I embossed a piece of white card with a star embossing folder and matted this onto a piece of black card and attached both to the card base.  I cut the background papers at an angle and overlapped them onto the bottom of the card.

I Cut out 1 large star on white card and added the cogs for the background, then mounted in onto a Silver Glitter Card Star.  I added 2 smaller black stars to each side of the larger star and place a silver glitter star in the centre.

I coloured in the car with the various pens ad added Glossy Accent to the windows.  I also used a white pen to add some light shadows to the car.  I curled it slightly and placed it over the stars with some sticky pads.

Finally, I stamped and cut the the "Life in the Fast Lane" sentiment and cut up the words and attached to the card.  I used a "Happy Birthday" stamp from my stash.  Had no "Dad" stamps so that was handwritten.

To use up the extra papers, I made an Artist Trading Coin, and used the "Life in the Fast Lane" sentiment again.  I had a rosette in my stash and used this and added a cog on top of it.

Hope you like them
See you next time

Girls Night Out - A5 Girls Night Out Stamp Set

Good Morning

Alice here, with an extra blog for you.

I made this little pop up box card using The A5 Girls Night Out stamp set from Colourific Stamps.  You can see this stamp along with lots of other fabulous stamps on their Website.

I used a die to cut out the box, and various dies to decorate it.  I also used some backing papers from my stash.  I stamped out the Lipsticks and Lips from the Girls Night Out Stamp Set and coloured them with copic markers.  I put glossy accents on all the lips to give them a shine.  I then attached them to strips of acetate and attached them to the box at various different heights and levels.  I love the way it turned out.

You can find more details here on my blog.

Thank you for looking.

See you again on Monday

Father's Day Sports Cars - A6 Sports Car Stamp Set

Hello Everyone

Alice here with my usual Monday Morning Blog.  Father's Day is approaching soon, so I thought I would get out the Colourific A6 Sports Car stamps to make a little card.  You can find this stamp set on the Colourific Website here

Materials:  Blank DL Card, 2 sheets background paper, A6 Sports Card stamps, Glitter Pens and Copics.  Peel Off borders.  Also used some die cut sentiments and a set of alphabets from my stash.

Measured each square of background paper 2in in from each corner and cut it diagonally. Glued the darker piece in place first, then added the 2 corners and added some peel off borders to set it off.

Stamped the cars, and cut one in half. Coloured all 3 pieces using copics and glitter pens and added Glossy Accents to the windows.  Placed the full car in the centre and raised with sticky pads.  The cut cars were placed at either side of the card.  Stamped the Triangle Warning 3 times and added the word Dad to it.  The sentiments are die cut works

Thank you for looking.

Best Friend card

Hi its Alison with my regular Saturday blog. Today I'm sharing a card made using the Best Friend stamp set, the Text and Borders set and the Spotty Background stamp.
I began by stamping the spotty background with yellow ink. I then chose one of the border stamps and used it to stamp three stems, curving two of them. I then stamped and coloured the flower heads and fussy cut them out. I used glue gel to attach them to the top of each stem. I stamped the best friend sentiment using grey ink. I glued this topper to a piece of yellow card, then attached this to a card blank.

Love Life

Good Morning Monday again.  The weather here has been awful, rain, hail, snow, and sunshine all in the one day! Too wet and cold to go out...
