You Passed - A6 Sports Car Stamp Set

Good Morning

Alice here with another extra blog.   Today I am sharing another little card I made using the A6 Sports Car Clear Stamp set from Colourific.  Have a look here to find this any many more fabulous and well priced stamp sets.

This is a great little stamp set for those difficult to make "Men's Cards".

Materials Used:

6x6 White Card
5.75 x 5.75 Black Square
5.25 x 5.25 white mat.
Herring Bone Stencil
"L" and "P" Die
Square Die Set

I inked through the white mat, missing out every third section in the stencil so that it looked like tyre treads. I layered the card with the black then white mat .  I used the square die set to cut out a red and black square.  On the black square I inked through the whole Herring Bone Stencil with Versa mark and embossed with clear powder then matted the squares together.  I used foam pads to add them diagonally to the card.    I stamped the car onto white card and coloured with red and grey copic markers.  I gave it some shape with a bone folder then placed it onto the card.  I cut out an "L" from red card and a "P" from Green card and glued these onto white card.  I cut through the "L" with zig zag scissors and placed one in each corner.  I added some greeting sentiments to the card and finished off with some "Traffic Light" coloured gems.

Thank you for looking

See you next time

Cars and Stars - A6 Sports Car Stamp Set

Good Morning Everyone

Alice here with my Monday morning blog.  I made this little Card and Artist Trading Coin using the Colourific A6 Sports Car set.  This is a great little set for those often difficult to make "Male" cards and you can find it by clicking here

Materials Used:  Black Card, White Card, Silver Glitter Card and 2 sheets of background paper.  Black and Red Glitter Pens and some Copic Pens.

I embossed a piece of white card with a star embossing folder and matted this onto a piece of black card and attached both to the card base.  I cut the background papers at an angle and overlapped them onto the bottom of the card.

I Cut out 1 large star on white card and added the cogs for the background, then mounted in onto a Silver Glitter Card Star.  I added 2 smaller black stars to each side of the larger star and place a silver glitter star in the centre.

I coloured in the car with the various pens ad added Glossy Accent to the windows.  I also used a white pen to add some light shadows to the car.  I curled it slightly and placed it over the stars with some sticky pads.

Finally, I stamped and cut the the "Life in the Fast Lane" sentiment and cut up the words and attached to the card.  I used a "Happy Birthday" stamp from my stash.  Had no "Dad" stamps so that was handwritten.

To use up the extra papers, I made an Artist Trading Coin, and used the "Life in the Fast Lane" sentiment again.  I had a rosette in my stash and used this and added a cog on top of it.

Hope you like them

Life in the Fast Lane - A6 Sports Car Stamp Set

Good Morning All

Welcome to my first blog as Design Team Member for Colourific.  I have used the A6 Sports Car stamp set for my first card.

·         I used a stencil to ink through the corners of a background paper and matted it onto a piece of navy card.
·         Stamped the wheels/cogs from the same stamp set to make the little background panel and a very old background map stamp from my stash (I have no idea where it came from) for the other panel.  These were both matted onto navy card.
·          The  car was stamped and coloured with copic markers and fussy cut.  I used Glossy Accents in the windows and along the trim and round the wheels of the car.
·          Used some glitter card and matted it onto navy card for the border.
·          Finally I stamped the “Life in the Fast Lane” stamp from this set onto white card and embossed and matted onto navy card.

Here is a link to the website, where you can find all the stamps :-

Love Life

Good Morning Monday again.  The weather here has been awful, rain, hail, snow, and sunshine all in the one day! Too wet and cold to go out...
