Marleen DT - A bottle of love

Hello Bloggers
and welcome to my blog

Todays post is another tag. Im really enjoy crafting on tags and they can be used for so many things.
As per usual, I have used a selection of stamps from Colourific and you can find them all in the STORE.

The specific one I used for this tag is:
A6 - Grunge Background
A6 - Borders & Stems

A5 - Champagne & Cocktails

I used a tag cut from canvas paper, I really like working on this surface due to the way it takes the ink but also for the texture. I started by stamping my bottle with Archival (waterprrof) ink.

I then used Distress Stains and water to create my background. If you have ever used Distress products you will know that once you add water, the ink has a mind of its own lol, so there is no way to ever recreate a background fully.

Once I liked my background I stamped the details with Distress Oxide Inks.
I kept my stamp on the backing card as I stamped. Added a bit of ink and simply rolled the stamp over the corner of my tag. I find that not using a stamp block give a softer egde to the stamping.

I then took a bit of distress ink and coloured my bottle. It was already green from the background ink but I wanted it to pop a little bit.

To finish, I stamped the little details of the bottle on to scrap card and coloured with gold Distress Stain and oce dry, fuzzy cut and glued on top of the bottle. I added a few gems and Voila.. all done.

Oh before I go.. I just wanna mention our FaceBook group. Colourific now has a group for anyone who is interested in the products. There is a competition over there and the Desgin Team shares their projects every day. And we would love to see your Colourific creations too. Come and join us.

And that is it from me for today.

Marleen DT - Lets have a cocktail

Hello blogger Friends
and welcome

A very quick post from me today with an equally quick project for
Colourific

Its a one layer card, using only 1 stamp set.
The A5 - Champagne and Cocktails set
Find it in the STORE with all the other amazing stamps.

As I said, its a 1 layer card. I stamped strait onto my craft card using Archival black ink. I did the same with the greeting which is also in the stamp set.
I coloured in using some colouring pencils and voila.. thats literally it..
No fancy stash, so fancy colouring..
Just a good ol' stamp and good ol' colouring in lol..

I love making quick cards like that. simply because not all cards have to be fancy..
And that is it from me for today.

Vintage Wedding - Marleen DT

Hi everyone

Its once again Wednesday and my turn to share a bit of inspiration using the stamps from
ColourificFor today's project I have used the stamp sets called
A5 - champagne & Cocktails
A5 - Vintage Car

Find them in the STORE along with all the other amazing stamps.

A simple little card. A background made with an embossing folder and a vellum die cut heart, created the setting for my vintage car. I stamped the 'congratulations' from the 'champagne and cocktails' set, using an Archival ink strait on to the vellum and left to dry.

The car itself, I stamped onto watercolour card stock and coloured with water colour pencils. I cut masks from post-it-notes for both tyres and covered the rest of the car with clear embossing powder. I only gave it 1 coat but as I look at pics now I wish I would have done 2. I think it would have given it just that little bit more..

Anyway.. my number plate.. This is a nifty little on.. let me show you..

Do you see the number plate already ON the car?? It says 'Happy Birthday' but further down on the set there is an extra plate that says 'Wedding Day'. So you can change the plate on the car for more use. I love that. It just gives you more ways to use the set. I suppose if you have other mini stamps with greetings, you can block out the 'happy birthday' when you ink up the car and add other stamps there..

Anyway, I stamped out the wedding plate and fuzzy cut it and layer it up on my car.
I finished my little card with a few gems and a bit of sparkle pen on the number plate.

And that is it from me for today.

Easy 3D Stamped Flowers

Hi everyone today I am here sharing a different way to use your stamp sets.  I took the Colourific stamp set: Moderne Flowers
I first stamped the images using Oxide inks onto vellum paper and applied some clear embossing powder and then heat set. I then fussy cut them and cut between each petal so I could shape them.  Each flower has 2 layers and then I added some stamens.
Makes perfect 3D flowers for your card fronts.  Finally I stamped the sentiment from the Champagne and Cocktails set!
I hope everyone has enjoyed my post and thanks so much for stopping by.

Love Life

Good Morning Monday again.  The weather here has been awful, rain, hail, snow, and sunshine all in the one day! Too wet and cold to go out...
