Marleen DT - Tiny Hearts background

Hello Bloggers
and welcome
Its my turn to share a bit of inspiration using the amazing stamps from Colourific.
You can find the stamp I've used and all the other fantastic stamps in the
STORE.

I have 3 cards to share today but they are all variations of the same ideas and I use just the 1 background stamp.
This is a technique you can do with any background stamp and with a bit of fiddling around with your inks, use any stamp you have.

These cards all started out as simple stamping on my card stock with my Tiny Hearts Background stamp. The gradient in the colours are made by overlapping the inks. I used Distress ink for all 3 cards and if you start with the lighter colour on your stamp they wont really contaminate each other.

After stamping I cut 2 of the backgrounds into strips and added them to my card with foam tape to give them a lift. Use regular tape if you don't want the extra bulk.

I finished with a couple of die cut sentiments and a few black gems..

And that is all from me for today.

Gold Grunge by Atiya

Hi there!
This is Atiya from The Whatnots Shop. I am taking over the Colourific blog today. I am here with the Gold Glittered Grunge look.

To create this card, I have used Princess Text and Grunge Background stamp sets by Colourific. I absolutely loved the Grunge background. There are so many possibilities with it.

I had stamped the A6 Grunge Background using the Distress Embossing Ink onto a Pale White cardstock. Then, I went on with the Perfect Pearls - I have used Heirloom Gold and a little bit of Pewter. I absolutely loved the effect it gave to the entire card!

Next, I took the sentiment stamp from A6 Princess Text stamp set and chose 'Hope your Day is filled with Love'. I stamped it using Atenew's Jet Black. I have used a light cream cardstock for this.

I added a layer of dull gold glitter sheet in between the base and the stamped cardstock.

In the end, I added a few pearls to give it a bling.

This is all for today and I hope you like the card. To share your creations using Colourific Stamps, you can join the Colourific Stampers Fan Group here.

Background Stamping with Leaves by Atiya

Hello everyone!
My name is Atiya and I will be taking over the blog today. For my first DT project with Colourific, I have done some background stamping using A6 Leaves stamp set.

For this card, I have used Altenew Crisp Dye Inks for stamping. I wanted this card to be fun and vibrant. So, along with the Green and Black, I went with Pink and Yellow.  I have used Honey Drizzle, Rubellite, Forest Green and Jet Black.

Before starting off with the stamping, I placed the stamps in the way I wanted them to be. This way I had a clear idea of where each stamp will be positioned and how it will look. Once the background was ready, I grabbed the word 'Thanks' from one of my Sizzix stamps and dies set. I stuck it down using a foam tape.

To give a little bling, I added a few rhinestones.

For the next one, instead of doing an entire background. I decided on doing a little part of the white cardstock. I stamped using  Altenew Crisp Dye Inks in Starlight, Tide Blue, Turquoise and Jet Black. As compared to the first one, I wanted this to have minimal tones.

Next, I took the black cardstock and glued it underneath the white cardstock just so that a little stripe of black could peek. For the base, I went with the Kraft Sheet. I liked how everything blended together in the end.

Then I punched a Fall leaf using a Fiskars punch and distressed it using Black Soot. I tied a little piece of twine to the stem. And for the word 'Hello' I again went with my Sizzix stamps.

Once everything was glued, I added some sequins and rhinestones to finish up the look.

And this is it for today! I hope you liked today's post.

DT Marleen - Background stamps on small hearts..

Hello Beautiful People

Its once again my turn to share a bit of inspiration for
Colourific.

For todays creation I've used 3 different background stamps.
Ive used:
A6 Flower Background
A6 Tiny hearts Background
A6 Grunge BackgroundA6 Princess text

All clear stamps.

I love strecthing my supplies a bit further, using them in different ways, so for todays card I stamped each background stamp, on seperate pieces of cards, in complementry colours and used a punch to cut a load of hearts from each . I added a bit of distress ink around the edges of each heart and around my card blank before sticking the hearts down.
I drew a couple of faint pencil lines down the card to try and keep the hearts strait, and I just rubbed them out once the hearts was stuck down with foam pads.

I finished the card with my greeting and a few clear nuvo drops. I stamped the greeting using my Misty, nit a must but I find it helps me so much getting things strait as I can test it before I commit.
And that is all for today.

Good Morning Monday again.  The weather here has been awful, rain, hail, snow, and sunshine all in the one day! Too wet and cold to go out...
